Road running through my farm

Am interested in rewilding some of our land, but we have two (minor) roads running through the farm. Anyone out there got any suggestions about how to handle that? Wondering if the council might support cattle grid installation to stop livestock escaping... Welcome your thoughts.

Might be a little bit excessive for small roads but thought this was quite interesting where a farmer had a tunnel put under a road for his dairy cattle to use. Cost - just under £80k! Green bridges are something the UK needs to start looking into but the cost is massive. I suppose for you it depends on how busy the roads are, whether they are public and the local authorities interest in working with landowners to address these matters. No harm in asking for a meeting to discuss? Good luck.
